About Mallorie Lotycz, PA-C:Mallorie Lotycz was born and raised in Ohio. She attended Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV on a four-year Presidential academic and athletic scholarship for undergraduate school. Always having a passion for sports and orthopedics, she obtained a Bachelors of Science in the Athletic Training program and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2010.
Knowing that she wanted to further her education, Mallorie pursued a Masters of Clinical Medical Science in the Physician Assistant program at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. She was the recipient of multiple honors including the Carolyn Parkhurst Rosser Scholarship, awarded to the Physician Assistant student who demonstrates strong moral and ethical character, and the Dean’s Scholarship, awarded to Physician Assistant students who demonstrate academic excellence. Mallorie graduated from Barry in December 2012 as Salutatorian of her class earning her the Program Director’s Award.
She was hired right out of school by Dr. Garcia and has been in practice with him since January 2013. Mallorie acts as a first assist in the operating room and helps with preoperative and postoperative patient care in the office.
